Te Koko
Te Koko was one of the earliest painted Maroi cheifs. He was documented by Sydney Parkinson in 1793.
Te Koko is almost finished with just a pendant to be made to complete his look. He will be ready for sale soon. Please contact for any enquiries.
Te Aho-o-te-Rangi Wharepu
Ngati Mahuta
Te Aho-o-te-Rangi is a well known character painted by Goldie, the painting which this carving was taken from was called 'All'e Same t'e Pakeha', 1905.
Atama Paparangi
Te Rarawa
Atama was warior cheif of the Te Rarawa tribe and was painted by C.F.Goldie many times, this carving was inspired by the painting named "in doubt" 1938.
